We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Model Developer - LLM, TR Global Risk Analytics.

Principal responsibilities

• Develop Python-based solutions for Global Risk Analytics team, including but not limited to Generative AI
• Research and develop new techniques in data science, Generative AI, and related areas to improve the quality of outputs.
• Perform detailed testing of prompts and data inputs and outputs.
• Maintain the codebase including frontend, backend, and algorithms in an engineering global team environment.
• Understand and implement appropriate governance and controls required.
• Face off to the business and other stakeholders, including but not limited to the business line teams, Global Finance Analytics, Transformation, Change/Project Management, IT, Governance teams.
• Contribute towards overall strategy development for the team.

Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders

• Work with business stakeholders to obtain deep understanding of requirements.
• Work very closely with business stakeholders for the proofs of concepts and testing stages.
• Closely collaborate with financial engineers, quantitative analysts, project managers, and IT to ensure solutions are performing as expected and delivered on time.
• Accountable for output being in accordance with the strategic outcomes as defined and communicated by the department’s senior managers and offer expertise to help determine such strategies.  

Leadership & Teamwork 

• Be a strong team player with the capability to communicate effectively with other team members and stakeholders across varying levels of experience and across multiple locations.
• Promote a high-performance culture and a knowledge sharing environment.
• Represent the team in working groups and other committees as required, including presenting demos.
• Be proactive in volunteering opinions and thoughts in team discussions.

Functional Knowledge

• Excellent Python skills and strong object-oriented programming concepts.
• software engineering architecture concepts for the build of multi-tier solutions that include user interfaces, data, workflow, and controls.
• technology, testing and support practices to maintain a production grade user system.
• Strong experience working with developer tools and frameworks such as GitHub, Agile practices, JIRA, automated testing.
• Knowledge of web UI coding frameworks such as React, NodeJS, Angular, is desirable.
• Knowledge and experience of building AI (especially Generative AI) solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience with prompt engineering, and an understanding of how Generative AI solutions / Large Language Models work is highly desirable.
• Experience working with Cloud based APIs for Large Language Models is desirable.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
