We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Operations Transformation Process Consultant
Role Purpose:
The Process Consultant for Operations Transformation is responsible for leading transformation initiatives to deliver an agreed set of business objectives and meeting the overarching portfolio strategy. The role will require knowledge and own the accountability for one of the following Ops Transformational Programmes, WPB, Wholesale, Payments or KYC
Main Activities
- Act as trusted advisor to business partners and ensure commercially based decisions are taken on prioritizing and optimizing the change portfolio.
- Promote a culture of strategic and pragmatic thinking, aligning short term decisions and investments with longer term vision and objectives.
- Work with the businesses and delivery partner to develop objective, quantitative recommendations that are driven by ROI to deliver benefit to the overall enterprise, and not only to a single operating silo.
- Identify and recommend innovative solutions that are infused with emerging technologies and solutions while tempered with common sense.
- Working across regional and local teams to ensure commonality of understanding and objectives whist reiterating global intents.
- Revisit projects post deployment on regular basis to validate business.
- Responsible for delivery of Six Sigma curriculum (Yellow belt and Green Belt) across all Operations.
- The process consultant typically has some years (3+) in consulting and years of diverse experience and a variety of skills related to managing projects, consulting engagements, business, operations:
- Proven track record as an outstanding consultant (change management or business transformation) and/or project manager
- Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise
- Exposure to Target Business and Operating Models and transformation business case (bottom-up & to-down)
- Demonstrated lean Six Sigma acumen and application.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Working across cultures and in matrixed organisational structures
- Successful change management
Skills
- Have an excellent knowledge of the change process, project lifecycle and consulting tools and techniques, reengineering methodologies and lean six sigma methodologies.
- Ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence at senior level in the organisation.
- Strong conceptual skills (business models, organizational design) and analytical skills (business performance, market & competitive dynamics) to craft, execute, and oversee hypothesis-driven analysis.
- Excellent working knowledge of functional area in an operational or consulting capacity
- Financial acumen: develop business cases/project charters, ability to budget, track and control project expenditure.
