We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Programme Manager

Principal responsibilities

  • Delivering strategic initiatives across Wholesale, shaping the business requirements and solution designs that encompass all aspects of the delivery (customer, people, process, policy, technology - system, data, infrastructure, etc.).
  • Collaborating across all relevant functions including delivery partners, subject matter experts and transformation teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of various programme initiatives. 
  • Actively participating in activities associated with embedment of the programme and related forums / committees as required. Drive meetings, working groups and workshops to decision points, influencing and negotiating outcomes.
  • Providing support to teams outside of the programme on any queries or issues, assuring continuous improvements to governance, reporting and execution requirements and also tracking completion of targets.
  • Support Wholesale in meeting any requirements to drive change forward in connection with external regulators / interested parties as required.
  • Managing implementation with focus on accelerating benefits and minmizing risk during deployment.
  • Ensure that senior management are appropriately advised of any impacts by providing informed insight and early intervention/escalation as required.
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
Requirements
  • Working with various teams – ensuring the overall functional objectives are delivered and building strong relationships within the team and across functions. 
  • Assisting with the development of a culture of meritocracy, high performance standards and high achievement amongst our people.
  • Leading, developing and providing a stimulating work environment for teams to develop critical capability to provide for succession and ensure delivery of business objectives.
  • Developing and deploying individual contributor performance management frameworks to drive efficiencies.
  • Thorough understanding of the Group and Wholesale businesses, including products, propositions, services, systems, sales process, relationship management models, the financial services landscape and competitor developments.
  • Highly developed understanding of end-to-end client lifecycle in Wholesale.
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Business Change, IT transformation, Process re-engineering.
  • Exposure to technology such as MS Dynamics, Control Tower, Client Vision and ClientSphere 
  • Advantageous to have knowledge on GB data models, operational processes and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of the changing regulatory environment especially in the financial services sector.
  • Outstanding organizational and planning skills with experience of management of complex global programmes/business transformations, with knowledge on when and how to re-prioritise, or escalate as required.
