 We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Project Manager.

Work Location: Pune/ Bangalore

In this role, you will:

Project Planning and Execution

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to delivery of payment platform.
• Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and establish timelines for successful project execution.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with business leaders, operations teams, product owners, and technology teams to align project goals with organizational objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

• Identify potential risks & issues associated with payment projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, proactively address issues, and adjust plans as needed.

Communication

• Regularly update the stakeholders, sponsor(s) and management on the status, Risks, Issues and timelines of project delivery.

Vendor Coordination:

• Collaborate with external vendors, third-party providers, and technology partners to ensure seamless integration of payment solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships as relevant.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in payment technology.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of payment systems.
• Work closely with transformation teams to ensure that project documentations are compliant with HSBC standards.

Budget and Resource Management:

• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
• Influence partner applications for effective tracking of budgets and actuals.
• Balance cost-effectiveness with project objectives

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Domain

• At least 13-15 years of relevant Project delivery experience.
• Prior Project management experience in banking, Payments or Channels
• Sound knowledge of Banking Payment Systems and/or Banking.
• Experience in delivery of large-scale projects / transformations.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office & other project management tools such as confluence, SharePoint, kanban boards & Trello.
• Strong Communications, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage/influence multiple stakeholders.

Agile

• Hands on experience in Agile methodology and tools.
• Awareness of story slicing and experience in estimation techniques.

Others, Good to have.

• People Management experience.
• Relevant Industry certification such as ITIL, PMI-ACP ) certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in banking technology, including knowledge of payment gateways, APIs, and transaction processing.
