We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Delivery Management Specialist

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance to the application teams on removal of IT configuration items as part of end-to-end decommissioning process and contribute towards project planning.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with application decommissioning and provide guidance and support towards data migration and ensure proper data archiving. 
  • Identify data quality issues pertaining to Service/Applications and work with ITSOs for remediation.
  • Manage senior stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor the execution of removal of IT assets and configuration items in ensuring zero tech debris and charges.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders for product / service delivery review, integration & enhancement and drive continuous improvements to related processes.
  • Coordinate with decommissioning service requests execution teams and escalates where necessary.
  • Govern the application portfolio, ensuring correct ownership, including on-boarding and transfer of applications in accordance with the organisation’s procedures

Requirements

Qualifications – External

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field.
  • 14+ years of relevant IT experience. 
  • Strong understanding of application architecture and familiarity with decommissioning tools and techniques, such as data archiving/retention and infrastructure removal.
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL and proven experience with project and programme management, primarily focused on IT Asset Management & Configuration Management.
  • Good understanding of decommissioning processes of IT assets & configuration items.
  • Good understanding of tools such as EIM, ServiceNow, ODS, UCMDB, Apptio, etc.
  • Experience of identifying and remediating data quality issues pertaining to application lifecycle data.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills including publishing scorecards/dashboards to CIOs.
  • Experience of process improvements, automation, risk management, and control(s) adherence.
  • Experience of working on large scale decoms, orphaned assets management process, data centre exits/migrations would be an added advantage.
