We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Digital Release Lead.
This new position will allow you to establish the framework for quality assurance on the end-to-end delivery of digital products platforms and features, from planning and execution to post-release support.
You’ll act as a central point of contact, coordinating across multiple teams and regions (Asia Pacific, UK) to ensure timely and smooth delivery of system/ platform releases and digital capabilities to market. Please note this role will require operating outside standard business hours during release cycles.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for ensuring deployment of digital capabilities. This also includes responsibility for maintaining and executing on the digital deployment plan and regulating release schedules.
- Interact and have visibility to digital business, product, platform, design, requirement, content management, testing teams.
- Responsible for developing and implementing the local Release Management process and methodology; acting as the gatekeeper to the live production environment, while ensuring a smooth delivery of digital/ platform releases.
- Managing and engaging technical, business, and regional stakeholders.
- Asia Pacific regional deployment will require working with local and regional teams to enable deployment readiness.
- Providing a local support mechanism to help address operational impacts and activities, and customer insights and experience.
- Formal people leadership, nurturing and coaching teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field with relevant experience in in a release or change management role, particularly within the financial or banking sector.
- Establishing and optimising a release management framework
- Subject-matter expertise in digital channels, including technical, marketplace, and customer experience considerations.
- Experience with testing and quality assurance, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and production verification testing (PVT).
- Excellent influencing, negotiation and relationship management skills to manage conflicting priorities and drive alignment from various stakeholders.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
