Retail Distribution
Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 260 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Retail Banking Sales Management Manager II, reporting to Head of Retail Banking Sales Management.
Principal responsibilities:
- Perform Sales Management to achieve the assigned KPIs.
- Formulate and implement non-regulated product sales strategies and communicate to sales staff in the Area
- Monitor non-regulated product sales activities and productivity metrics to ensure delivery is in accordance with sales pipeline in the Area
- Collaborate with internal compliance and quality assurance units on sales quality of branch staff and take remedial measures to ensure strict adherence to the compliance standards
- Maintain close communication with branches and other relevant departments to develop and implement necessary follow-up actions
- Set clear performance targets and objectives for staff and monitor their progress regularly
- Coach/ counsel/ motivate and develop staff members
- Ensure all control measures relevant to the job responsibilities are undertaken to minimize the risk exposure of the Bank
- Observe the established Bank’s and Group’s compliance policies and monitor their implementation
- University graduate is preferred, seasoned candidates with lower academic qualification will also be considered
- Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations.
- Proven experience in retail banking as well as exposure to frontline sales an advantage
- Self-motivated with strong sales and customer orientation
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Strong drive to succeed and ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese with sound knowledge of application software
- Great sense of ownership and high level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
