We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement tools and features to high standards and in timely manner using test driven development techniques
- Person should be technically driven, have appetite, enthusiasm and desire to initiate change and execute strategy
- Actively engage with other team members for development projects and contribute to team discussions on development issues
- Provide 3rd line of Technical Support for the teams’ applications
- Analyse & capture functional & non-functional requirements for long-term and short-term project requirements
- Manipulate large and complex data sets
- Follow best software development practices to ensure high quality product and adherence to design objectives
- Provide prompt resolution of problem issues related to the relevant software
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Candidate should have 3+ years working experience in MSSQL Server, Good command over SQL Server
- Candidate should have strong knowledge on SDLC
- Good knowledge on tools like JIRA, Go-Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GIT, PowerShell, Batch command
- Good to have knowledge of Control M scheduling.
- Good to have knowledge on Net/C#, microservices.
- Candidate with Banking experience in reporting space and handling large datasets will have an advantage
- Knowledge of designing and developing multi-tier and multi-layer applications
- Strong Knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts
- Experience in unit testing framework and technics
- Keen to learn and upgrade to latest technologies and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken)
