We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst - REGIONAL TRANSFORMATION_GZ.

Principal responsibilities

  • Work with the regional Wholesale and Retail Risk teams on the project work and support the BA work across Asia on regional system/process/data activities.
  • Manage a successful implementation of Risk change projects in Asia Pacific, mainly but not limited to Wholesale Credit Risk, Retail Credit Risk and Model Risk.
  • Partner with a wide range of functions and businesses (including other Risk sub-functions, Global Banking, Commercial Banking, Finance, IT, Credit Operation, Change Delivery, etc) at Group, regional and country levels to ensure successful implementation of regulatory requirements, risk policies, data improvement and management reporting with recommendation of process change or system solution.
  • Manage and implement change projects aligning to Global Risk change strategy with tracking of cost, benefits and sustainable saves against targets.
  • Coordinate Risk system / re-engineering project budgets and regular project update in Asia Pacific Risk covering Retail, Wholesale, Compliance and Fraud and report to Risk Chief Operating Officer.
  • Coordinate with other Asia Pacific Risk sub-functions where a wider discussion of relevant risk subject is required.
  • Contribute to all relevant governance committees and working groups to facilitate effective communication and act as subject matter expert.
  • Provide support to management in various risk disciplines developing measures used in key decision-making processes, including, but not limited to, business management and budget planning.

  • University graduate in Risk Management, Business Analysis or related disciplines.
  • Solid project management and business analysis experience.
  • Experience in project management or business analysis in banking or financial institution environment.
  • Analytically minded with capacity to understand and interpret complex business/ risk requirements, with ability to translate the technical details into business context, and vice versa.
  • Good understanding of the project lifecycle, best practice techniques on project delivery.
  • Knowledge of Wholesale / Retail Risk, data and systems would be a definite advantage.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to mobilize cross- function counterparts at global, region, or country levels.
  • Upward management skills to get buy-in from senior managers across functions and regions
  • Good team player and flexible to take on challenges.
  • A highly motivated and pro-active self-starter.
  • Holder of professional qualifications has an advantage.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
