Wholesale is a team of a variety of middle and back-office roles which support the frontline activities of our Commercial Banking (CMB) and Global Banking (GB) businesses.
We work closely with the businesses, GTS and GPS product areas, dedicated Operations and Technology teams in DBS and support partners in Global Functions to deliver exceptional customer journeys, enable growth and increase efficiency through innovation.

In delivering against a complex and evolving book of work the WDAC team need to have access to, maintain and develop the best talent in a highly competitive jobs market. The WDAC team will build a world class agile delivery structure that will see the WDAC maintain a fungible and dynamic workforce capable of being deployed to execute against our ambitious Global change agenda.
Main Activities:
- Lead a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team of consisting of data, analytics, technology, and delivery professionals to deliver advanced data and analytics solutions.
- Drive the deployment of global strategic initiatives and delivery framework across WDAC
- Working closely with data, analytics and technology teams across the business, shape solution designs which meets business needs as well as aligning to the broader strategic Data & Analytics and CMB/GB objectives.
- Work directly with various stakeholders across multiple geographies, such as technical discipline leads, data scientists, data engineers and data analysts to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis to successful delivery.
- Define Agile project working approach and enforce all team members to follow the same methodology.
- Ensure awareness, involvement, and support from key stakeholders by building strong pod teams and maintaining robust communications on the project status throughout its lifecycle.
- Ensure risks and issues are identified, managed closely, and remove project blockers from the team
- Make key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives.
- Supporting the delivery production line such as definition, implementation and testing and ensuring deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose.
- Drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards.
- Critical in ensuring delivery of outcomes take place when initiatives involve multiple workstreams.
- Ensures cross-team delivery plans exist which represent an achievable commitment based on the capacity of available resource and consideration of internal and external dependencies.
- Enforce Data/Business Analysis, Delivery Management principles in Global / Regional businesses covering Customer analytics/ Product analytics/ Portfolio analytics etc.
- Manage effective and enduring relationships with various stakeholders to understand, recommend and drive delivery against business agenda.
- Working with and liaising with data analytical teams across multiple functions to share knowledge and best practices.
- Manage and work with real time data to generate decisions on prospects, features for ongoing delivery processes.
- Manage integration of on-premises solutions to the global blueprint
- The role holder shall also be expected to guide and lead team members from a functional perspective and help them build up a strong culture of delivery and professionalism.
Experience
- 12-14+ years of proven experience in project management or delivery management, with a focus on large-scale projects or programs or relevant experience
- A degree in MBA with bachelor’s in engineering / master’s degree in economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other numerical discipline, equivalent with relevant work experience in Data related technologies
- Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.
- Highly adaptable and ability to approach things differently to achieve goals.
- Proficiency in project management software/tools and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas
- Strong track record of delivering on high value/critical projects
- Effective communication, inter-personal and experience at stakeholder management with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholder, identify scope of improvement and provide efficient data driven solution
- Strong analytical and curious mindset and ability to deliver despite multiple challenges
- Proven experience of creating content for, and presenting at, senior level meetings
- Outstanding organisational and planning skills with experience of management of multiple initiatives, with knowledge on when and how to re-prioritise, or escalate as required
- Ability to operate across boundaries of business and technology organisations, utilising broad business delivery, change, technology and data management and remediation knowledge
- Influential individual capable of bringing together disparate and virtual teams to align on a common goa
- Structured and organized leader with strong project management, data and business analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can manage stakeholders in a complex matrix organization
- Relevant Agile Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, SAFe, LeSS, DAD is a plus.
- Experience of large-scale transformation program is a plus.
