What you will do:
The role holder will join the HSBC Ireland COO Team and will be responsible for implementing the COO strategy on the strategically important areas of Third Party Management and Data.
This role will require leadership in driving the regional agenda across CIB and connecting with senior stakeholders both in country and across the region. The role holder will be required to act as delegate for the Ireland COO in senior forums and contribute to the broader HSBC Ireland agenda through getting involved in initiatives
In this role you will:
- Work with onshore and offshore business management team to ensure COO objectives are achieved.
- Ensure strong networks with key stakeholders, enabling ability to execute at pace and be seen as an influencer.
- Ensure all HSBC control standards are produced in accordance with group Compliance policies, Department procedures, Prospectus and Regulations.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with various internal partners
- Provide expert guidance and support to the business whilst managing to balance control and commercial interests
You should apply if you have:
- Strong communication skills working in a matrix environment
- Proven problem-solving skills with ability to consider alternative and lateral solutions
- Ability to take ownership and apply judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining budgets, time scales and quality of output.
- A sound knowledge of working in a Corporate and Institutional Banking environment
- Understanding of Third Party Management and/or Data Management is desirable but not a pre-requisite
