We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President, Oversight and Reporting.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
Support the Head of Regulatory Compliance (RC) in providing strategic oversight of RC risk stewardship activities across eight licensed entities in Singapore, ensuring alignment with Group Compliance and local regulatory expectations
Drive second line oversight of compliance risks across all lines of business and global functions, under the direction of the Head of RC
Assist in preparing and delivering stewardship materials, regulatory self-assessments, and challenge exercises for senior management and regulators
Develop thematic insights by analysing structured data across controls, breaches, regulatory metrics, and risk themes, to inform the Head of RC’s oversight
Help Head of RC feed into key governance routines such as RMM, and co-ordinate the running of the Compliance Risk Forum (CRF), jointly chaired by the Head of RC
Ensure outputs for governance forums and regulators (including MAS) meet the required standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Coordinate timely regulatory submissions, thematic responses, and internal audit deliverables across RC, ensuring consistency and follow-through
Supervise and coach team members, including onshore and offshore resources, to enable high-quality execution of compliance oversight deliverables
To be successful you will need
University degree in Law, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
Postgraduate or professional qualifications in Risk, Compliance, or Financial Regulation are advantageous
Strong relevant experience in Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a related control function
Strong track record of leading cross-functional governance, oversight, or assurance work in complex, matrixed financial institutions
Prior experience in a global bank, financial regulator, or professional services firm (e.g., Big 4, advisor) is highly valued
Familiarity with MAS regulatory expectations and requirements, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality regulatory submissions and responses
