We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analysis

Business: Global Banking & Markets

Principal responsibilities

• Working with the MSS business, IT, Compliance and Legal to assess the impact of new regulatory changes on the MSS business.
• Defining and refining requirements specification process and tooling. Agreeing the process and any changes, including hand-over points, with upstream / downstream stakeholders.
• Quality assurance of the business requirements produced by the Business Analysis team and where appropriate act as a signatory on these outputs.
• You will support in the management and mentoring of BA resources within the portfolio.
• Ensuring timely delivery of business requirements within your projects, raising any associated RAID items to project and programme management, and working with colleagues to establish effective solutions.
• Escalation point on all matters concerning Business Analysis.

• Maintains tight scope control across the programme, ensuring any changes to baseline are managed through the change request process.
• Engages with stakeholders effectively.
• Promotes and takes accountability for quality of requirements specification and identifies opportunities to improve delivery.
• Contributes to project status reports and ensures all aspects of business analysis performance are being managed effectively.
• Ensures governance decisions are applied consistently within the business analysis domain.
• Provides timely reports on programme status, risks and issues, evaluating programme performance based on management information.
• Reviews and constructively challenges project / workstream status reports and ensures all aspects of programme performance are being managed effectively.
