We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analysis
Business: Global Banking & Markets
Principal responsibilities
- Working with the MSS business, IT, Compliance and Legal to assess the impact of new regulatory changes on the MSS business.
- Defining and refining requirements specification process and tooling. Agreeing the process and any changes, including hand-over points, with upstream / downstream stakeholders.
- Quality assurance of the business requirements produced by the Business Analysis team and where appropriate act as a signatory on these outputs.
- You will support in the management and mentoring of BA resources within the portfolio.
- Ensuring timely delivery of business requirements within your projects, raising any associated RAID items to project and programme management, and working with colleagues to establish effective solutions.
- Escalation point on all matters concerning Business Analysis.
- Maintains tight scope control across the programme, ensuring any changes to baseline are managed through the change request process.
- Engages with stakeholders effectively.
- Promotes and takes accountability for quality of requirements specification and identifies opportunities to improve delivery.
- Contributes to project status reports and ensures all aspects of business analysis performance are being managed effectively.
- Ensures governance decisions are applied consistently within the business analysis domain.
- Provides timely reports on programme status, risks and issues, evaluating programme performance based on management information.
- Reviews and constructively challenges project / workstream status reports and ensures all aspects of programme performance are being managed effectively.
