The purpose of this role is to manage, design and execute program growth across assigned clients through program retention, introduction of new products and solutions and through collaboration across HSBC deliver the best possible outcomes for HSBC and our clients.   
The role holder will have to work close with partners across the region and the globe to deliver against objectives

As our Sr Program Optimization Consultant you will:

  • Ensure the client is delighted with HSBC cards offering and act as a consultant for their clients by learning their businesses and providing advanced monetization, working capital and efficiency strategies. Demonstrate personal excellence including punctuality in responsiveness, integrity, and accountability
  • Be the client advocate in managing the HSBC global network to ensure client satisfaction
  • Partner with Sales and Banking, to ensure efforts, communication and focus are coordinated and consistent, focusing on revenue expansion and revenue realization through cross sell opportunities. With partners also work to understand client profile, DPO and working capital objectives through treasury and procurement head conversations, as well as plan and prepare for major acquisition and divestiture events as it relates to cardholders
  • Ensure client roadblocks that affect revenue realization and retention are communicated through ‘Client Experience Forum’ with senior leadership.
  • Take ownership, lead and track specific customer issues/problems including pricing and billing issues and work with the customer and internal departments until issues are resolved
  • Identify and coordinate new cross-sell opportunities within own portfolio. Grow portfolio revenue through business case development with client Treasury, Procurement, AP, HR and Card Administration. This will include the ability to conduct spend/commodity analysis, work with banking to understand corporate financials and credit, and consult based on client needs and future objectives
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $125,600.00 and $188,300.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Proven experience in Payments, Treasury or Commercial Card
  • A working knowledge of commercial card products and trends is essential
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at various levels in the organization
  • Proven ability to innovate, problem solve, and develop customized solutions to solve client issues and challenges
  • Strong proficiency and ability to advise on procurement, payment and treasury objectives.
  • MBA, or Bachelors in Finance or Accounting preffered, or equivalent experience in a Commercial Card environment
  • Advanced problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
