Retail Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With more than 270 branches and service outlets, including around 60 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population, offering an extensive range of products.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our branch network as Team Head, Acquisition II.


Principal responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of GBOs and CSMs to implement holistic sales initiatives for general banking sales products and insurance products to achieve Area AOP targets through an effective and efficient sales collaboration model at branches
  • Work closely with Head of Acquisition and Area Managers to devise and implement actions which align with WPB and RSS strategies.  
  • Takes part in both formulation and execution of sales strategies to drive the sales performance, monitor the qualities of sales conducted by team members and elevate the professionalism and sales selling skills of branch sales
  • Monitors and reviews current sales process to improve channel efficiency and customer experience
  • Enhances professionalism of staff in selling general banking and insurance products.
  • Possess leadership capabilities and is able to motivate team work and work out people development/ retention strategies
  • Enforce established internal operation / procedures to mitigate operational risks and ensure strict sales compliance
Requirements
  • University degree
  • HKSI and IIQE regulatory qualifications, and fulfil the competency requirements to carry out regulated activities as defined by the Regulators
  • Around 8 to 10 years’ relevant experience in retail banking with people management experience, with strong knowledge of insurance products
  • Strong business awareness, excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Extensive external market awareness of market conditions, financial planning environment, new product solutions, and an understanding of current financial market activities
  • Possess effective presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, communication and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Qualification in CFA/CFP/CFMP is an advantage
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers and manage complex interactions effectively
