We are currently seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Testing Manager within the Wholesale IT Payments, which is responsible for delivering Regional Payment systems for the Bank in ASP region. Wholesale Technology Payments, as a major Service Line reporting into Wholesale Technology, faces off to Commercial Banking, Global Banking and Markets and Wealth and Personal Banking. Payments is the backbone of transaction banking, as HSBC group strategy payment regional system, Regional Payment is a multi-currency payments platform enabling customers to submit regional high value (international and priority) payments, and low value (bulk or single) payments in different currencies. Wholesale Technology provides technology solutions to support HSBC’s four global businesses: Commercial Banking, Global Banking and Markets and Wealth and Personal Banking. Wholesale Technology is part of Digital Business Services.


Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for Leading the testing team to deliver Regional Payments project(s) and prepare the test completion certificate
  • Support a testing team with a global array of talents and responsibilities to manage delivery proactively
  • Communicate with diff stakeholders across geographies and within other FIs in AU market on testing team plan/supply and reporting progress and risk
  • Carry out detailed requirements analysis on project scope, test strategy selection and automation execution plan
  • Work with test members on sprint/release regression test and industry tests with high automation coverage
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and drive for issues resolution
  • Foresee, Identify potential risks and monitor mitigation plan execution in project testing
  • Provide consultant to test teams on process and work efficiency optimization
  • Responsible for adherence to relevant organizational processes
Requirements

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ IT industry experience with significant testing knowledge, especially multiple platforms testing experience
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experiences on functional testing with strong technical knowledge on test automation
  • Rich experience on all-in-one test team management, especially: Function test, Automation test, User experience test and Industry tests
  • Fluent communication skills in spoken and listen English to communicate with global team
  • A highly-motivated individual with positive and pro-active attitude
  • Be able to work under pressure to complete project in tight schedule and cost effective way
  • Testing development working experience on banking application
  • Experience in vendor management as interaction with vendors would be required
  • Relevant product knowledge of Payments is a big plus
  • Passionate and career driven


Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
