We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In payment domain with 5+ years of experience. The role of the SME is to create test strategy, supporting test engineer in testing activities, identifying the automation opportunities and able to do hands on GPP SP platform. Associate should have hands on knowledge of Global Payment plus (GPP SP). experience on bug tracking system like Jira, good knowledge of SQL queries, understanding of defect life cycle and good communication are essential for this role. Knowledge of any automation tool is preferable. It is expected that SME should be able to work on automation tool. This role will also require interaction with various teams, timely and quality deliveries of assigned task
- Test environments build and support.
- Infrastructure Management which comprises of critical vulnerability fixing, OS/DB patching, certificate renewals etc.
- Code Management via CI/CD pipelines and with the help of DevOps tools.
- Automating manual tasks with the help of shell scripts and Control M jobs.
- Providing 24*7 test environment support.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Must have strong UNIX and shell scripting experience. Should have prior experience of working on LINUX based servers.
- Should have basic knowledge on middleware products like WAS/MQ. Should possess strong analytical skills.
- Should have basic understanding of GPP/RTP applications.
- Should have good experience on DevOps tools like Ansible, GITHUB, Jenkins etc.
- Added experience on Control-M, Connect: Direct will be an advantage.
- Should be open to working in UK shift, weekends and post office hour on-call support (all ROTA based). Should have good communication skills and be able to efficiently communicate in the issue investigation calls/chats.
- Should be forthcoming in highlighting issues and reach out to admin teams (MQ, IIB, UNIX, DBA) in case if help is required from them. Should be a self-starter and motivated to pick issues reported to the Env inbox and start working on it.
- Hands on experience on Jira and Confluence.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of programming language such Java or Python
- Knowledge Automation tools like Tosca and UFT.
- Knowledge of multiple clearing systems
- Hands on experience of CI/D pipelines
