We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of VP HUMAN RESOURCES-HR Business Support.
Principal responsibilities
The VP - HR Business Support will participate in business activities, supporting Senior HR Managers with BAU & non-BAU activities, cyclical work pieces such as Annual Reporting and short term initiatives. They are located in GSC/HTC teams and would roll up to Head of HR for GSC/HTC China, while collaboratively working with regional HR COO team. The role may have expanded team lead responsibilities for the other GCB 4/5 Business support resources.
Those employees fulfilling a HR Business Support role are expected to possess some knowledge of financial budgeting, strategic planning, communication, and people management processes in the context of the GSC/HTC they are located in.
In addition, the role holder supports the implementation of global strategy and governance and control framework within the GSC/HTC remit including but not limited to
- Statutory & Internal Compliance
- Payroll Tasks and Responsibilities
- Employee Life Cycle Management
- Vendor Management
- Other Administrative Activities
- Experience of working in an HR environment in a business partnering/HR generalist capacity supported by shared services and areas of expertise is a must
- Deep understanding of the GSC/HTC operations, employee demographics and associated risks/challenges to be able to execute on statutory labour compliance requirements
- Thorough knowledge of HR FIM, GSC/HTC Human Resources policies, procedures & practices and statutory guidelines
- Sound oral and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, and assertive and professional demeanor with an ability to interact with diverse audiences
- Ability to make rational decisions and navigate through complex scenarios with minimal guidance or supervision
- Ability to influence Senior Leaders across multiple business lines
- Ability to understand, identify, and challenge key risks and controls that require testing within processes
- Exposure to people related perspectives and industry practices
- Proven Project / Change Management experience with a strong focus on delivery
- Vendor Management Experience
