We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President Head of Asset Manager Relations - (WPB)

Principal responsibilities

• Lead the asset manager relations function, establishing key priorities and overing projects supporting these priorities to conclusion.
• Manage day to day relationships with strategic partners, ensuring that GPB&W markets are managed as a single entity with a consistent level of servicing and marketing support.
• Collaborate with GMS investment due diligence (IDD), organisational due diligence (ODD) and product specialist team, as well as with local markets to identify product needs and work with strategic partners to build and launch solutions.
• Co-ordinate asset manager activity with GMS Lead Asset Management Analysts ensuring that activities are recorded, initiatives are followed through to completion and appropriate reporting made to senior GPB&W and Group management as required.
• Manage product launch initiatives end to end (RFIs, selection and communication, product launch process)
• Work with strategic partners to ensure that High Conviction funds are registered in all relevant markets and that appropriate marketing support and training is available to local GBP&W fund specialists.
• Manage commercial negotiations with Asset Manager partners ensuring optimal outcomes for GBP&W. Conduct on-going reviews of individual partnerships ensuring that they remain relevant and meet GBP&W requirements. Lead team of AM relations managers

• 10 years or more of prior experience in the Funds / Asset Management industry. Proven experience in managing strategic partnerships and leading teams successfully.
• Professional qualifications / certifications like an MBA or Masters with Finance specialization are a positive.
• Practical knowledge / experience of financial markets, macroeconomic environment, risk management, regulations and their application to the fund market. An analytical mindset and attention to detail. Good writing and communication skills.
• Strong negotiating skills. Proactive, positive attitude and ability to multi-task especially under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines. Team player, strong organizational and time management skills, and people management experience.
• Strong Microsoft office skills, including excel and PowerPoint. Robust knowledge / experience of financial markets, macroeconomic environment, risk management, regulations and their application to the financial markets is desirable.
• Ability to make business decisions and gravitas to articulate and convince stakeholders to support your viewpoint. Clear & concise communication, with strong writing and presentation skills.
