Report to: SVP and Head of Global Payments Solutions

Role Purpose:
The role is responsible for the development and execution of the Payments product portfolio propositions to enhance HSBC’s market share and profile as a prominent Payment’s player in Taiwan.

Job Content:
1. Drive the development and the achievement of the product performance objectives and the development of product and project plans to support the execution of the approved product strategies in HSBC Taiwan.
2. Responsible for the profitability of the covered products and services and for developing and managing the Products to ensure that they meet market needs and contribute towards the overall GPS objectives.
3. Work with front line teams to design and develop solution for client needs and industry trends.
4. Help negotiate the terms of large commercial agreements, both internally and with clients, close sales and process contracts.
5. Understand market trends and the likely impact on revenue streams.
6. Develop and drive specific commercialization activities including but not limited to creating tools to support sales and client service teams in educating and marketing our Payment product capabilities.
7. The jobholder is required to be familiar and to operate within the Product Governance framework, have a strong commercial and business management approach, be able to maintain close relationships with the product managers as well as GPS Client Service and Sales and partner functions to execute the development and deployment of new functionality. 
8. The jobholder is also responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction for assigned products and work with Commercialization, Sales, RM and CS to develop a healthy pipeline for products under commercialization.

2. Ability to apply an entrepreneurial mindset in driving the commercialization of the assigned products.
3. A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service. 
4. A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way. 
5. Solid expertise in cash management and specifically exposure to Payments is desirable.
6. Proven introduction of innovation and track record of managing complex product developments and launches.
