We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - Data and Analytics - GAC HASE DATA ANALYTICS - RI.

Principal responsibilities 

We are currently seeking high caliber professionals to join our department as Senior Analytics Manager (AI/Machine Learning)

  • Mine, analyze and model large structured and unstructured data and apply advanced statistical, predictive models and leading machine learning algorithms to explore strategic solutions and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive commercialization of advanced analytics-led solutions with appropriate methodology, manage the business application effectively and evaluate the results rigorously.
  • Highly sensitive to state of business and anticipative of business problems and priorities.
  • Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by driving the build-up and delivery of AI/machine learning solutions.
  • Explore the data and conduct quantitative analysis to ascertain root cause of business' issues, identifies opportunities and effective targeting for business growth potential.
  • Collaborate and influence a wide range of partners / stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of 7. AI/machine learning solutions with well defined performance measurement.
  • Ensure timely and quality analytics deliverables to satisfy business needs effectively under the dynamic business environment.
  • Sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with different parties to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment.
  • Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities.
要求
  • University degree in in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' working experience in analytics, modelling and machine learning/AI/Generative AI.
  • With proven experience of people management or collaboration with offshore team.
  • Extensive experience and skill in mining massive volume of data for quick insight discovery.
  • In depth knowledge and experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Proficient in Python/R, SQL/BigQuery, Tableau/QlikSense on environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a must
  • Experience with embedding techniques, RAG, promptings and LLM fine-tuning, involvement in search engine or recommendation system is a plus.
  • Experience in machine learning model/AI/Generative AI related risk and control governance.
  • Ability to communicate with impact, with the capacity to ensure complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to a wide and varied audience.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, presentation skill and strong business acumen.
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
