International Wealth and Premier Banking serves more than 50 million customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. It is a global business that brings together management responsibility for Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Asset Management with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Vice President Retail Business Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Covers full life cycle of retail business within WPB from the initial planning phase towards measuring the actual performance. This will include activities such as planning, estimating, budgeting, managing, and revenue assessment so that the WPB business objective can be achieved within the agreed target.
  • Responsible to coordinate revenue initiatives with departments within WPB Retail Business.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong analytical background and ability in financial analysis, reasoning and translate business activities into financial information and provide conclusion/suggestions.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate effectively and confidently.
  • Strong personal drive and motivation to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to build relationships at all levels across the organization
  • Excellent business and commercial awareness
  • Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills
  • Good problem solving skills with ability to consider alternative and lateral solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently under pressure, within a team environment
