We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Wealth Planner, Wealth Planning and Advisory.

Principal Responsibilities

  • To be a part of the Wealth Planning team providing comprehensive wealth structuring guidance to clients of HSBC Global Private Banking in Greater China
  • To support in the advisory and implementation of succession planning solutions for clients
  • To support the team on trust onboarding, internal reporting, training and other projects, as assigned from time to time. This entails curating presentation and other materials and liaising with all internal stakeholders, clients and service providers
  • To collaborate within the wider Wealth Planning and Advisory team to facilitate the cross-sell of HSBC’s overall legacy capabilities
  • To monitor trends in the wealth planning industry in the respective regions and communicate necessary changes
  • To maintain close relationship with intermediaries in the wealth planning industry
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial institutions, professional firms, or independent trust companies
  • Degree holder in law, accounting or finance, preferably with the STEP, CPA, law qualification
  • Sound analytical mind and strong self-motivator
  • Collaborative team player, who can work closely with different business partners and stakeholders
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, client facing experience with HNW clients is a plus
  • Able to work independently and detail oriented
  • Good writing, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Willing to travel for business
  • Highest levels of ethical standards and integrity
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, Cantonese and Putonghua preferred
