Department: - Enabler Platform

  • Prove leadership for A&CS team globally and ensuring the expected outcomes, including costs and headcount efficiencies.
  • Manage the team to maintain & support the API service, also continually improve its resilience and quality.
  • Create and evolve the organization of the team.
  • Drive performance for the team and hold them accountable for delivery.
  • Make hiring plans and hiring decisions.
  • Provide frequent feedback and coaching of the team.
  • Provide a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for your team to execute on its priorities.
  • Communicate at all levels from senior leaders to individual contributors, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Adapt the teams plans and goals to support the business strategy.
  • Own the team’s output, taking responsibility for their performance.

  • Supporting the team in their journey through line management, training and career development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to influence, lead and drive teams to deliver
  • Demonstrate good judgement and a high level of communication skills to achieve effective stakeholder management
  • Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely, suitable for all levels across the HSBC group.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to effectively transform and embed cultural change
  • Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across all the globe
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Establish successful partnerships with key stakeholders such as product managers, value stream leads, business owners
