We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Actuarial Analyst - INSURANCE - SUPPORT FUNCTION.
Principal responsibilities
Assist manager and senior manager in matters relating to the management of Par and Universal Life business from perspective of policyholders’ fairness.
Prepare the profit transfer amount from participating funds to shareholder fund.
Prepare the regular sustainability of Policyholders’ dividend scale and general crediting rates monitoring for various committees, e.g. Asset and Liability Committee, Risk Committee, and Participating Business Committee (PBC)
Assist the preparation of the analysis related to the dividend recommendation (annual and interim) and the subsequence implementation to the administration system.
Assist manager to address concerns of the attendees of PBC on key issues concerning policyholders’ fairness.
Support the tasks related to GL34 compliance.
Requirements
University graduate in Actuarial Science, Risk Management or related discipline.
Good progress with actuarial examinations in the Society of Actuaries or other equivalent actuarial organization.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of planning and problem solving.
Self-motivated with ability of working effectively under pressure and commitment to process improvements.
Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
