We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Actuarial Analyst - INSURANCE - SUPPORT FUNCTION.

Principal responsibilities

  • Assist manager and senior manager in matters relating to the management of Par and Universal Life business from perspective of policyholders’ fairness.

  • Prepare the profit transfer amount from participating funds to shareholder fund.

  • Prepare the regular sustainability of Policyholders’ dividend scale and general crediting rates monitoring for various committees, e.g. Asset and Liability Committee, Risk Committee, and Participating Business Committee (PBC)

  • Assist the preparation of the analysis related to the dividend recommendation (annual and interim) and the subsequence implementation to the administration system.

  • Assist manager to address concerns of the attendees of PBC on key issues concerning policyholders’ fairness.

  • Support the tasks related to GL34 compliance.

Requirements
  • University graduate in Actuarial Science, Risk Management or related discipline.

  • Good progress with actuarial examinations in the Society of Actuaries or other equivalent actuarial organization.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of planning and problem solving.

  • Self-motivated with ability of working effectively under pressure and commitment to process improvements.

  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
