The Advisory Team is responsible for supporting the delivery of investment advice and implementation (including tools and programs) for Private Banking clients. The team in responsible for commercialization of the Advisory solutions and managed account platforms. The Advisory Manager role requires an individual who has a background in investments, Registered Investment Advisor framework as well as a strong command of data, tools, managed account platform business processes. This role is critical for smooth functioning, enhancements and sustained growth of the Advisory platform.
As our Advisory Specialist – Sales Enablement, US you will:
Ensure the global investment journey model is implemented locally
Support key deliverables of the Advisory proposition, i.e., in terms of platform implementation and other work streams (e.g., investments related)
Define requirements and enhancements to applications, programs and assist with mapping processes to the platform, and perform User Acceptance Testing
Liaise with Portfolio Managers and vendor partners regarding onboarding of managers and models
Identify use cases, improvements, and deficiencies in the investment journey, i.e., be the voice of the internal and external client
Manage data streams and account logic in Advisory platforms
Collaborate with Transformation and Technology partners and prioritize features for PI Planning
Work with relevant stakeholders for monitoring of accounts and present at local and global governance forums
Monitor, track, and report on financial performance and associated procedures such as invoicing, budget requests
Act as an SME facing off to internal teams and functions such as ICs, Business Management, IT, Compliance, Transformation, Operations, etc., as well as global IWS Advisory colleagues.
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Strong knowledge of investments, asset allocation and portfolio construction
- Prior experience with wealth management platforms
- Product Management experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem solving, leadership and presentation skills
