We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Retail Credit Risk Manager - WPB RISK COE HUB CHINA (HASE HK).
Principal responsibilities
- Support the regulatory and business MIs management in relations to retail portfolio so as to achieve better risk management capability.
- Support model assessment for credit risk models to ensure compliance with the Group, PRA and HKMA requirements.
- Develop and automate comprehensive MI risk reporting, prepare regulatory and internal reports.
- Work with HASE/Regional/Group Risk, Finance, IT and business units to ensure requisite support on MI and model monitoring implementation.
- Able to work with business and support the business with the right analytics solution.
- Prepare standard processes and service levels to allow the sharing of best practice; support functional activity and/or work with HSBC Group across region or specific function
- Participate in user acceptance tests, as well as documenting the work procedures of related processes.
- University degree in Risk Management, Statistics, Finance, Business Management, Economics or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 year’s relevant banking experience with knowledge in retail lending business, preferably in credit analysis or risk management.
- Good analytical skill and proficient in data analysis using statistical tools such as SAS / SQL/Microsoft R / Python.
- Self-motivated, strong analytical mindset, able to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly proficiency in both English and Chinese.
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
