We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Distribution Sales Support. 

Principal Responsibilities

Administration

  • Channel Administration
    • Conduct validation and appointment exercises in accordance to the business rules
    • Maintain registers of advisers with 3rd party licence
    • Administer the coding, cessation, and assignment of policies for all Channels
    • Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of the BAU, assigned tasks, and ad-hoc assignments
    • Ensure that reports are deliver timely and accurately
    • Review and streamline workflow where applicable
    • Review and update of SOP promptly where applicable
    • Assist and handle enquiries professionally and promptly
  • Debt Recovery
    • Execute debt recovery processes promptly & follow through with debt process in accordance to the SOP
    • Prepare the monthly debt recovery update report for management team
    • Manage instalment payment requests from departed advisers
  • Annual Fit & Proper Exercise
    • Ensure that the Annual Fit & Proper Exercise process is conducted in accordance to the Fit and Proper framework
    • Collate results and proper reporting conducted for any breach of Fit and proper guidelines by advisers
    • Maintain and update the SOP where applicable
  • Other Administrative Matters
    • Monthly check on new business submission for suspended advisers
    • Monthly Reactivation Exercise
    • Administration of Adviser’s Health Benefit and Professional Indemnity entitlement 

Projects

  • Participate in projects & UAT as required
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Insurance industry
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills: MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Formula), MS Word, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in VBA will be an added advantage
  • Great interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with stakeholders
  • Meticulous to ensure accuracy of deliverables & good with processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with tight timeline
  • Resourceful, Independent & strong problem solving skills
