The opportunity: Associate Corporate Banking Manager

What you will do:
The role has two dimensions:
Global corporates and International Mid-Market Relationship manager -
Grow and manage a portfolio of new clients in IMM segment (International Middle Market - large multinational and top-tier corporate clients) in the Czech Republic, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted adviser. The RM (Relationship manager) coordinates HSBC’s global network to deliver integrated banking solutions and deepen client relationships profitably and responsibly. This dimension of the role will be solely focused on new prospects and onboarding.
The job holder is also responsible for cross-selling to the client base as well as maximizing RoRWA (Return on risk weighted assets) with tailor made solutions specific to client sector and size.
Assistant to Global Relationship Banker in Global Corporates segment (GRM) –
The role holder will assist senior GRM (Global relationship managers) in developing and expanding business of top tier Global corporates names in Czech Republic. The role will form the team with the GRM and serve as a back where relevant to reduce the contingency risk.
The role holder will also communicate with internal HSBC network stakeholders to ensure the outbound business performs according to target plan for the year and HSBC network is utilized to service the customer in expected shape and form. Assistance on large scale transactions is expected including the deal administration in line with GRMs instructions.
In this role you will:
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the prospective customer base (large multinational and top-tier corporate clients)
• Deliver appropriate product and services in respond to client needs
• Lead and manage bank-client relationship
• Focus on relationship return and growth
• Make business grow in a sustainable, responsible and compliant manner
• Engage in a professional way of credit process (understand bank policy & market practice)
You should apply if you have:
• Proficiency in Czech
• Experience in the banking industry
• Experience managing client service operational needs, and an understanding of different client segments needs
• Sound knowledge of banking products
• Good credit experience
• The ability to negotiate/close deals
