We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Product Development.
Business: GPS Technology
Principal responsibilities
Oversee quality of design solutions as they related to UX and Interaction Design.
Elevate and strengthen UX Design as a practice.
Prioritise and coordinate design deliverables by developing a solid understanding of business needs and customer needs.
Effectively support more junior designers, oversee day to day operations and efficiency improvements.
Responsible for design team management including mentoring, performance development and recruitment.
Collaborate with the User Research and CX team alongside Product and Technology to understand user needs, identify design opportunities and create meaningful product experiences.
Drive a human centered design approach that spans all phases of design development and delivery.
Frame design solutions and explain thinking and rationale in a compelling way to influence others.
Leverage HSBC’s UX component library to design and deliver on standard.
Play a role in the creation and evolution of HSBC’s design system.
Requirements
Experience in UX and Digital Design
Line management experience, supporting and developing others
Team management, Mentorship and coaching
Strong Interpersonal skills
Project management
