We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SREs, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure reliability, availability, and performance.
- Architect and design scalable cloud infrastructure solutions, leveraging Alicloud, AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of container orchestration platforms, with a focus on Kubernetes.
- Drive the implementation of infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration.
- Spearhead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms.
- Champion cloud security initiatives, ensuring compliance with security best practices and safeguarding data and applications.
- Lead incident management efforts, including root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services seamlessly and support application development.
- Conduct research and innovation to explore the application of AI techniques within the banking domain.
- Share knowledge through presentations, workshops, and training sessions to upskill team members and promote a culture of learning.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Ali (a must), AWS, GCP, Azure) and service meshes, including hands-on administration.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of guiding technical teams to success.
- Deep understanding of containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes operations.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code and automation scripting.
- Proficiency in observability, logging tools, and performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within and across diverse teams.
