We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

 

Business: Enterprise Technology L3

 

Principal responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility of the INCIDENT COMMANDER is to take the Operational lead on LEDGER Incidents primarily across the ASIA timezone
  • Help coordinate and oversee critical LEDGER deployments across key Finance periods + SSP for example
  • Build strong relationships with the Finance Service Resilience team to ensure we are complying to Best Practice and Controls
  • Build strong relationships with the LEDGER POD Leads + Principal Engineer to integrate practices and processes across the VSATT
  • Drive workstreams on TRCB (Technology Risk Control Board) to ensure LEDGERS applications come into compliance and remain in compliance
  • Help Develop and build a strong and robust Change Management framework that meets all controls requirements and matches the needs of the global VSATT
  • Overseeing effectiveness of controls to ensure compliance with HSBC Service Management and Infrastructure Build policies and standards of the services owned
  • Ensuring an effective engagement process is in place that is demonstrably adding value to all target stakeholders of the services owned
Requirements
  • Good understanding of the FTP application
  • Excellent problem management and incident management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
  • Knowledge and experience on Mainframe, Open platform (e.g. Unix) and Database.
  • Business knowledge of accounting (Ledger) and financial reporting
