We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Tech SME Specialist.

 

Business: GTS Technology 

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Flexibly apply various techniques and tools to document, track and manage business requirements effectively in different contexts, leveraging Agile development methodologies.

  • Work with global stakeholders, including Product Owners, Operation Service SMEs, Transformation PMs, to gather business requirements from different markets.

  • Perform gap analysis between global capabilities and local market business needs, translate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable requirement documents to assist Product Owners to conduct prioritization.

  • Communicate requirements effectively to business stakeholders, testing teams, development teams, and project management teams to ensure alignment and understanding across all parties.

  • Assist the engineering and testing team to conduct L1/L2 effort estimation for requirement requests.

  • Collaborate with platform Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and designers to ensure they fully understand the requirements.

  • Responsible for supervising SME/designer to complete Solution Proposal and Functional Design in a timely manner, arranging relevant review sessions with relevant parties, collecting opinions, answering questions, until SP and FD are signed off.

  • Provide consultation to production support teams when issues arise in the production environment. Offer clear guidance on business expectations for the system to help resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements
  • Banking domain in Global Trade is an advantage.

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.

  • Proven experience in leading global large-scale banking system deployment is an advantage.

  • In-depth commercial bank accounting knowledge is an advantage.

  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills.

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Exceptional in Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban…etc.).

  • A track record of following through on commitments.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Experience leading and developing top performing teams.

  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.

  • Strong communication skills to interact with business and IT teams from various geographies to understand/explain requirements, source the required data.
