HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is a markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. Within CIB, Securities Services provides robust and reliable solutions that help clients mitigate risk and enhance their business performance. Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, this team covers fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate Manager Tax Securities Services

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance including tax calculation and tax reporting that related to mutual funds.
  • Provide assistance for mutual fund’ tax disputes.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and update Clients on relevant implications.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor team member to enhance their tax skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date record of all tax related activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide excellent services to Clients

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Indonesia Citizen only
  • Strong understanding of Indonesia and International Tax (Tax Treaty) Laws and Regulations.
  • Familiar with capital market transaction and the tax implication.
  • Experience in managing tax issues including tax reclaim.
  • Fluence in English, with strong written and oral communication abilities, is a must for engaging effectively with Clients.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate excellently with a diverse international client base.
  • Brevet certification is highly preferred.
