Global Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.

 We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Audit Manager, Programme & Change Management This role will support the audit program for regulatory change and other change the bank transformation audits and will include coverage of change programmes globally and across all business lines and functions.

 In this role, you will:

  • Undertake Project audit activities (planning, fieldwork testing and reporting) as part of the Programme and Change Management Audit team. 
  • Drive the coordination, execution, and collaboration of a consistent delivery of audit work across the Global Businesses and Global Functions. Ensure the Audit Plan is delivered and working to tight deadlines.
  • Engage with and provide strategic advice to internal auditors and auditee stakeholders on project best practice by utilising knowledge of the business and the governance, risk and regulatory frameworks.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a common approach and understanding of key deliverables.

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Internal Audit – Planning, Execution and Report Writing

  • Experience working in an Internal Audit Function including application of internal audit methodology. Practical experience of internal audit test execution from planning, fieldwork through to reporting, issue drafting and issue management.
  • Excellent understanding of internal controls (business and IT) with a track record of improving business delivery and controls in sustainable ways.
  • Providing change assurance over programme and projects – examining change/ delivery execution risk.
  • Has had exposure to programme and change auditing through change assurance roles or other relevant internal audit roles such as IT audit, compliance and conduct internal audit, global or country audits. 

Understanding Programme and Change

  • Good working understanding of the project lifecycle and key project/programme management principles. Track record of understanding change management execution risk and delivery challenges. Must be able to give examples of practical exposure and understanding.
  • Track record of being involved in significant change programmes either in a programme delivery/governance capacity or project assurance capacity. 

Other Skills

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively, and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive report and issue writing.
  • Analytical and problem solving – basic data analysis skills using Excel; ability to assimilate a breadth of information and summarise.
  • Promote and lead best practice in risk and compliance management in a similar organisation and/ or within internal audit.
  • Collaborative – able to work independently but also work as a team to deliver the best outcomes.
Requirements

·       Minimum 3-5 years of post-qualification experience preferably in a financial services institution.

·       Recognised internal audit, accounting or CISA qualifications.

·       Recognised Project Management qualifications obtained via industry experience and/or training.

 The base location for this role is India.
