We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Design, build and maintain automation frameworks
- Design, develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium Java
- Automate API testing based on project needs
- Integrate the automation suite in the CI Pipeline
- Execute the automation scripts on containerized environments if required
- Should handle client and team with respect to deliverables of the automation project
- Should guide the team to resolve technical challenges faced in the project
- Proactively learn workflows and new technologies
- Supporting development of test scripts to test the built application
- Undertaking SIT execution and Defect retests.
- Manage defects and provide feedback to the development team
- Ensure all system failures are recorded in the Defect and clearly understood.
- Follow best practice testing procedures and processes that ensure the most effective tools and techniques are employed
- Understand the UAT work stream client/stakeholders’ requirements and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with Test planning and regular progress reporting.
- Produce the test schedule and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the test schedule and the quality requirements.
- Provide clear, concise and accurate written and verbal reports to the UAT Test Lead and other stakeholders.
- Attending defect triage meetings with HSBC key parties.
- Provide support to the Analysts and the Team Leads in due diligence reviews outside of UAT preparation and execution period.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Strong understanding and hands on experience on Selenide, Selenium WebDriver (v3.x), Selenium Grid
- Strong understanding and hands on experience on Core Java, Maven
- Hands on experience on Cucumber, BDD methodology, Gherkin syntax
- Hands on experience on REST ASSURED/JUnit framework for API testing
- Hands on experience in any Java IDE (e.g. Eclipse)
- Hands on experience on GIT, JIRA, Jenkins
- Should have experience with integrating automation frameworks in the Jenkins CI pipeline.
- Good Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE) an it’s working
- Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocol and syntax
- Good understanding of Message Schema, RAML, Message Request-Response mechanism
- Working experience in Agile methodology with ‘in-sprint’ automation
- Strong experience in handling Chrome, IE, Edge browser for testing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good to have Experience on IBM Openpages or other GRC Products E.g. Archer, Metricstream
- Good to have Exposure to Automation using Selenium.
- Good to have Sound knowledge of MRG domain
- Good to have Understanding of any API testing tools like – POSTMAN, Rest Client, Anypoint etc.
