Digital Business Services (DBS)

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
1. To supervise Protective Security related matters, including physical protective service, business continuity management and other works assigned by Deputy Manager.
2. To interact with local Gong An and designated regulators as necessary in the conduct of works.
3. To assist in the rollout of security initiatives and programs as directed by management and guided by DBS.
4. To backup DBS Officer in case of need and take other DBS related works designed by line manager.
5. To liaison and contact with internal & external business counterparts, including but not limited to, police, suppliers, contractors, external aides and etc.
6. To closely work with team member and provide strong support to Deputy Manager to implement regulatory and internal requirements.
7. To support on security risk awareness training related matters, such as sharing, briefing and training to branch staff on branch security and BCM related matters.
8. To work with GPU and Protective Security to ensure security contracts are properly managed, maintenance quality and claim are properly managed.
9. To maintain and ensure due observation of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Ensure awareness of compliance requirements and implementation of Group Compliance Policy.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- University (BA) or (BS) above;
- Good communication skill and writing skill in Chinese and English;
- Ability to prioritize and work under time pressure;
- Good relationship management and communication skills and be capable of developing rapport with internal and external stakeholders (Gong An and regulators);
- Possessing a strong compliance mind-set.
- Capable of taking initiative and working independently to complete assigned tasks;
- Capable of managing security costs for branch;
- Demonstrable relevant working experience an advantage;
- Certified security professional accreditation an advantage;
