Private Banking and Trust Services - Private Banking Department 

Hang Seng's Private Banking provides services for people who have successfully built their asset base and now want to place their wealth in the hands of experts who know how to nurture it. 

Our banking services and products are bespoke, ranging from tailored investment advice and capital solutions to holistic health and personal protection and trustee services. Our team offers professional wealth management advice at both a local level and on a global scale. 

Should you join our Private Banking business, you will focus on building close relationship with our high-net-worth customers, providing professional advice and premium service to them and contribute to the profitability of the Bank.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Business Implementation Manager (System).


Principal responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor business/ system implementation projects/ initiatives with various stakeholders including Front Office, Middle Office, Regulatory Compliance, Technology, Business Services etc. to support business development and growth, drive business/ operational enhancement and ensure control effectiveness

  • Actively manage and monitor the scope and schedule of the business/ system implementation projects/ initiatives to align with business directives and strategies and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure proper implementation

  • Coordinate the overall implementation of various projects/ initiatives with Front Office, Middle Office and various stakeholders

  • Keep abreast on latest technology/ best practices in banking industry and deliver changes to current processes with efficiency and cost improvement

  • Drive the platform strategic roadmap and project budget plan with stakeholders to sustain and support long term business growth

Requirements
  • University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in banking and project management, with knowledge in private banking operations, wealth management products, system implementation etc. and past experience as a project leader an advantage
  • Proactive and innovative with good project management, problem solving, communication and analytical skills
  • Attentiveness to details, strong self-motivation and ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with good knowledge of application software such as MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic programing language.
  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
