We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Management and Operations Transformation Lead. 

Principal Responsibilities  

Digital Business Services (DBS) provides essential support for the bank through operations, technology, key central business services such as procurement and real estate management, and a worldwide network of Chief Operating Officers.

  • The role of the Business Admin and Operations Transformation (OT) is to support both Country Head of Operations and the Regional Head of Business Management / Transformation Office with the business management of the OT function
  • Including managing a $13m direct cost base, headcount of c.70 (+850 offshore staff) for Singapore Operations entity associated tooling, reporting, recharging
  • The role will drive strategic work such as organisational design, target operating model, process re-engineering and location strategy including change management commercialization
  • This role will report to the Head of the Operations and work with Regional Operations transformation / Business management office (including Technology and Transformation Services) to ensure E2E operational service delivery

In this role, you will lead and support on the delivery of:-

  • Cost and Performance – Manage the cost, budget, financial plans, forecasts .and actuals (working with Finance) including billing and recharging of Operations Transformation direct and indirect costs to the Global Businesses and regions.
  • Lead the process for capitalisation of non-Tech transformation costs
  • Project Management – Project work and process re-engineering for Transformation Office processes to enhance the support provided to the transformation delivery teams including working with multiple Business in WPB , WB , GPS etc for BWOT program delivery
  • Business Reporting - Oversee the Anaplan tooling team who manage the system that enables detailed transformation costs and benefits reporting. Deliver processes to manage the demand and approvals for consultancy expenditure.
  • Operational Management – Help manage Operational Transformation objectives and develop and action changes required to achieve targets including risk and controls
Requirements
  • Prior Business Management/COO, accountancy/Finance or management consulting experience is highly desirable
  • Demonstrable results in delivering success in terms of budget management, resource management, financial management and executive reporting is essential
  • Proven ability to analyse complex issues and identify / assess the long-term, strategic implications for Operations Transformation, the Bank and its customers
  • Project management experience to be able to deal with changing tasks, responsibilities and priorities
