Community Investments
Hang Seng’s Community Investments function drives and implements the Bank’s community investment strategy and programmes, coordinate staff volunteer activities and plays a key role in the ESG reporting process. We collaborate with our community partners to develop and execute programmes that foster sustainable and positive impacts on our community.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Community Investments Department as Community Investments Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Community Investments, the role holder will be responsible for driving comprehensive communications and engagement initiatives for the Bank’s key stakeholders. This includes developing and implementing communication strategies, building thought leadership, establishing relationship with community partners, and effectively managing community programmes.
Principal Responsibilities
Communications
- Develop engaging and creative content related to the Bank’s community investment strategies and programmes
- Optimise PR opportunities and adopt an integrated communications approach to promote the Bank’s standing as a good corporate citizen
- Assist in content creation and information disclosure for the Bank’s annual ESG Report
Strategy and Programmes Development
- Evaluate proposals and manage community investment programmes, working closely with NGO partners and all stakeholders to ensure seamless and effective delivery of programmes and activities
- Lead the design, organisation and coordination of both internal and external programme-related events
- Develop corporate volunteerism initiatives
Governance & Control
- Manage budgeting, performance tracking, analysis, and reporting of charitable donations and sponsorships programmes
- Establish and maintain a robust and efficient control environment across the department to ensure full compliance with Group policy and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field
- A self-motivated and creative individual with 8 years of relevant experience in PR, communications, campaign/content development, event management, or community relations
- A demonstrable and proven track record of developing and driving CSR programmes, public relations campaigns, corporate and community events
- Good understanding on social issues
- Collaborative, strong interpersonal and communication skills with great sense of ownership
- Excellent project management skills and attentive to details
- Possess an analytical and creative mindset
- Ability to work confidently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
