We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Markets & Sec Services Tech

Principal responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable, high-quality software solutions. 
• Develop and implement strategic solutions using mainstream programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and databases. 
• Mentor and support junior colleagues by resolving complex technical issues and sharing best practices. 
• Work within Agile frameworks to deliver solutions efficiently, adhering to software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices. 
• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 
• Engage with clients to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure timely project delivery. 
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adoption of industry best practices. 

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, preferably in banking or financial services. 
• Proficiency in mainstream programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. 
• Strong understanding of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and experience with Agile methodologies. 
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines. 
• Familiarity with banking systems, strategic solutions, and architecture direction. 
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a strong advantage. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges. 

What additional skills will be good to have?

• While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will be considered a plus: 
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate). 
• Advanced knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices-based solutions.   
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements in banking. 
• Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese) to support regional clients.
