We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
- Working within the WPB Messaging Team to develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and efficient code using Sveltekit.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend interfaces with APIs and backend services.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and seamless data interaction.
- Ensure technical feasibility and provide input on UI/UX designs.
- Debug and resolve issues related to API interactions and performance bottlenecks.
- Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and documentation to ensure system reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and interactive development to maintain high standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in frontend technologies and API integration practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development using modern JS frameworks.
- Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript(ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with modern state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Context API.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and API error handling.
- Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Exposure to authentication and security best practices.(e.g. OAuth, JWT, CSRF).
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Have strong verbal and written English communication skills, experience of presenting technical choices.
- Excellent teamwork, independent thinking, a strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and self-motivation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
