We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
- Full stack engineering includes all infrasturcture delivery lifecycle and adopt DevOps & Agile best practices to build the future infrastructure / cloud platform
- Candidate(s) are expected to work effectively to collaborate with management team and/or other development teams across borders, work effectively under pressure.
- Provision, Deliver and support the IT infrastructure, including order, build, OAT, monitoring, ever-greening, administration and operations etc.
- Leading a team of engineers across different locations to ensure the delivery.
- Work closely with both local, offshore and relevant teams on the development and ensure successful project delivery with good quality and align to HSBC change management and release process.
- Candidate(s) would be required to work stream(s) independently in a reasonable timeframe in case of delivery needs.
- Apply Devops practise and tooling in the daily development activities and align to HSBC IT engineering standards;
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years working experience in software engineering discipline; Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong Infrastructure / Environment management capabilities.
- Experience of working as a DevOps Engineer, working through design, build, testing and implementation.
- Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Solid skill on DevOps processes and Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins.
- Effective communication skills in written/oral English.
- Open-minded, reliable and independent, Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative
- Proactive, possess an outgoing personality, self-motivated and be able to work independently and under pressure
- Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across all regions (APAC, Europe, MENAT, North America, LATAM).
- Cloud platform practise of external cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Ali Cloud) is a plus.
