We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Control Analyst – Environment Social Governance and Sustainable Finance Programme, Finance Change Delivery
Principal responsibilities
- Develop the control plan for book of work that Operating Model and Controls workstream is supporting and monitor key tasks and delivery milestones.
- Support the targeted end-to-end control environment design aligning with targeted operating model and solution design.
- Elicit control requirements based on to-be architecture and operating model and understand the technicality of the IT build.
- Effectively manage control related RAIDs and ensure HSBCs change framework is adhered to.
- Perform risk and control assessments, identifying new or enhancements to current controls. Define robust controls in adherence to HSBCs control framework.
- Perform risk assessments including Non-Financial Risk assessment on Environment, social and governance processes and controls at various stages of project delivery.
- Contribute to programme testing approach and documents, including gathering controls design and operational effectiveness testing evidence during parallel runs.
- Design new/ uplift existing control definitions in compliance with HSBC control standards.
- Experience of working in complex operational and technological change at scale and pace.
- Experience of designing and implementing Finance control design.
- Good knowledge of Finance systems architecture, strategy delivery, data model, especially Finance Cloud platform.
- Experience of defining controls to mitigate key risk, including evaluating controls over financial and operational processes.
- Experience of performing risk assessments throughout a project life cycle, including non-financial risk assessments and be able to present to Risk Stewards.
- Passion and curiosity in Environment, social and governance ; understanding and knowledge of certain ESG disclosures process, and requirements.
- Proven change management skills, excellent working knowledge of MS related products i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Ms Visio, and Word, SQL, Cloud skills are appreciated.
