Report to: SVP and Head of Global Payments Solutions

Role Purpose:
Plan, lead, and manage all aspects of implementation, including technical, of large scale domestic and regional payments solutions for customers in Taiwan as well as solutions involving other GPS countries to ensure solutions are delivered professing professionally and in a coordinated manner. The role is responsible for the delivery of post-sales support to corporate clients, across a full range of Global Payment Solutions products.

Job Content:

1. To successfully manage all technical implementation issues.
2. To identify current and further product/system development needs and contribute to the future development of various electronic services.
3. To manage the implementation and integration teams to deliver solutions for regional and domestic mandates.
4. To manage the implementation and integration teams to spearhead technical implementation in terms of system integration.
5. To manage and develop the implementation and integration functions in Taiwan in-line with Asia Pacific implementation standards.
6. To maintain regular dialogue with regional implementation/ integration team to foster team work and cooperation, by providing motivation and guidance to Taiwan team on implementation approach, by identifying and implementing well-planned strategies to ensure best practices are adopted, skill sets are developed and service standards in Taiwan are consistent with agree ASP standards.
7. To maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor/Master degree, major in business and related areas.

2. At least a minimum of 8-year experience in banking, IT and/or systems related environment.  Supervisory and project management experience is a must. 

3. Sound working knowledge of application integration, networks, security and operating systems are required.  Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferable.

4. With ability to put highly complex and/or technical information into simple terms so that stakeholders can easily understand it.

5. Be able to balance and prioritize different demands of the team and requirements from multiple directions and stakeholders.
