We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Architect.
Business: Global Procurement
Principal responsibilities
- Day to day oversight and guidance of the Global Procurement Data Architecture
- Communicate the value of Data Architecture
- Support line the Global Function as a subject matter experts as we build out the Global Procurement data model
- Support tactical implementations with relevant expertise and insight around Global Procurement data
- Act as a broker between relevant stakeholders to connect people from across the organisation
- Support the development and implementation of architecture strategy and standards pertinent to the domain
- Adopt new practices, processes, operating model, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies
- Act as the recognised data expert associated with the relevant domain
- Accountable design authority for data decisions and leadership of the appropriate governance bodies
- Stay abreast of technology trends and advise Data Architecture and the business about potential benefits/impacts
- Overall responsibility for supervising a department or a business unit/area team, or manages delivery for most complex assignments.
- Motivates matrix groups of peer stakeholders
- Drives success and delivery from the Global Procurement Architecture team
- Thought leadership on how the Global Procurement data architecture can solve business issues

Communication Skills are key - being able to connect the business stratergy to the data and the importatnce of data. Presentation skills, visually explaining the value of data and the artefacts - connecting to Business and Data Architecture
