Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments and multinational corporations, Securities Services offers a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.  

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Digital Engagement Manager. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Take a proactive approach in monitoring and researching the market and technology developments likely to be relevant to the Securities Services industry, specifically with regard to emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology, Application Programming interface, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Chatbots and Cloud Computing
  • Represent HSBC Securities Services in local industry forums in the arena of digital and data and to support business development and client management teams on setting the digital agenda with clients
  • Promote and implement  Securities Services’ digital products to clients with the objective of enhancing the client experience and improving efficiency of the HSBC Securities Services business
  • Be responsible on providing demonstration on HSBC Securities Services' digital products in sale pitch presentation or client service meetings
  • Drive and manage client migration projects to digital solutions, with support from Change Management and Support Team
  • Collect and translate customer feedback into product features and enhancements, working closely with Product Management, Change Management and Development team to ensure that requirements are understood and that designs support the requirements
  • Ensure internal awareness on new products and conduct training to ensure all internal teams familiarize themselves with the new functions and their value to the clients
Requirements
  • At least 3~4 years of experience in a business / process analysis would be required
  • Good understanding of Agile and experience of operating within an Agile or Scrum structure
  • Experience of working in a large scale change environment
  • Strong Communicator both verbal and written with a comprehensive understanding of content and context
  • Strong stakeholder management and networking skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
  • Experience of working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Good Team player with ability to build and maintain highly effective working relationships
  • Capable of facilitating workshops displaying good presentation skills and can tailor communication methods for the audience, environment and setting
  • Strong inter-personal, communication and leadership skills (differentiate by role complexity)
  • Shows good planning & time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content
  • Ability to take decisions within the scope of responsibility (Courageous integrity / Connected and collaborated approach in gathering information to make decision)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, and under own initiative with a sense of ownership and accountability
  • Positive, dynamic and resilient individual, open to change and able to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Responds positively to challenge, showing consideration for others views and taking these into account when making decisions
