We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Engagement and Events Assistant Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

The Engagement and Events Assistant Manager is responsible for the planning and delivery of engagement activities and events for the Chief Operating Office (COO) and Chief Information Office (CIO) of the bank.

In this role you will

  • COO & CIO Employee Experience Elevation: Plan the COO and CIO Engagement Event every month, from creating the event concept to developing a project/event plan, ensuring the programme is implemented on time and within budget. Moreover, designing and distributing the post-event survey and report on monthly ROI for analysis
  • COO & CIO Employee Communication: Create, develop, and execute an annual engagement plan with a series of activities planned, as well as draft and issue communications & messages in digital/eDM format quarterly and monthly. Moreover, the COO and CIO engagement plan should be prepared in a rolling 12-month schedule
  • COO & CIO Event Operations: Manage all administrative tasks and event operations’ logistics to ensure all the COO & CIO engagement events are planned, organised and executed seamlessly, including coordination of all venue bookings, venue set-up layout, food and beverage menu planning, programme rehearsal, preparing the speaker’s welcome note, audio-visual testing, coordination with catering provider of the bank, conduct food tasting if it is necessary
  • Business Administrative Support: Manage all the COO HK leadership exchange events assigned by the Head of Performance, Hong Kong COO Office
  • Events COO Event Budget Planning: Manage system submitting and monitoring the COO event budget and report the status monthly to the Head of Performance, including the event budget forecast plan in a rolling 12-month schedule
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Solid experience in event planning, marketing and project management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of event management and/or communications theories, models and trends
  • An enthusiastic and proactive nature, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Outstanding customer service and team working skills
  • Ability to communicate confidently (both verbal and written) in English and Cantonese advantageous
