Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will: 

   Expense Management:

-         Responsibly for expense management and its control framework enhancement, develop systematic controls, and ensure the implementation of expense policies, procedures across the Company;

-         Monitor the quality of expense checking teams, ensure materially accurate and comply with financial and regulatory requirements;

-         Continues enhancement of business awareness, educate business functions, expanse checking teams and relevant stakeholders to comply with the designed control requirement, ensure payment/expense related risks are timely identified and mitigated.

 

   Reconciliation:

-         Ensure a smooth, efficient substantiation & reconciliation workflow set-up in operation with concern of financial control as well as business needs;

-         Superwise and ensure a consistent, robust financial control has been undertaken in the process of regular substantiation & reconciliation.

 

   Risk & Compliance:

-         Supervise risk, audit, compliance matters across Finance, monitor the implementation of all kinds of regulatory change projects, self-assessment, gap analysis and assess the expected impacts to Finance, ensure risks are mitigated and action plans are completed timely;

-         Continuously enhance internal controls, review and ensure Finance policy/procedures/manual instructions etc. are fulfill operational, regulatory and internal control requirement.

 

   Others:

-         Support Finance projects, such as new system deployment, new branch setup, and other ad-hoc projects;

-         Support Finance training program, talent development, cultural changes, and maintain a healthy working environment within Finance;

-         Other Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Finance Operation Manager, Finance Controller and CFO.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

   Bachelor‘s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Aduit areas;

   CICPA qualification or equivalent is preferred;

   8+ insurance experience, especially in finance operation, control, audit is preferred;

   Familiar with China GAAP and IFRS GAAP;

   Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English (written and spoken);

   Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective problem solver;

   Computer literacy: Microsoft word, excel, etc.;

   Strong team leadership and people skills;

   Self motivated and able to work under pressure.
