We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Delivery Lead with a strong background in the commercial trades domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in Accounting, Limit modules, STP and hands-on experience with Java and Database and proven track record in overseeing banking trade transformation projects.
• As a Technical Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of technical projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and are completed on time and within budget. As a Technical Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex software projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. Leader and advocate of the desired culture, awareness and behavioural changes across the WSIT community required to mature the understanding and management of technology risk controls.

Engage the key stakeholders to promote positive behaviour and actively manage risk.
• Work closely with Technology to develop and monitor risk remediation program activities and actions to ensure delivery within acceptable timelines.  Domain Expertise: - Apply in-depth knowledge of commercial trades to drive project success. - Utilize expertise in Accounting and Limit modules to enhance project outcomes. - Stay current with industry trends and advancements in the commercial trades domain.  
• Project Leadership:  Provide effective leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals. Java Expertise:  Leverage extensive Java programming expertise to guide and support development teams in the implementation of technical solutions. Banking Trade Transformation:  Demonstrate deep understanding and experience in driving transformation initiatives within the banking trade sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Project Planning and Execution:  Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and mitigate risks to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Stakeholder Management:  Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns proactively.
• Quality Assurance:  Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Budget and Resource Management:  Efficiently manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively to optimize project outcomes.
• Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall project efficiency.
• Candidate should have knowledge of commercial trades.  Candidate should know the Core Trade transaction. Candidate should have full stack Java development exp.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the software industry with a focus on Java development.
• Proven track record in project management roles, demonstrating successful delivery of complex projects.
• Extensive experience in banking trade transformation projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
